It was a crime that the townspeople had never witnessed. Shocking in its daring and involving a feat of stealth, it was also pretty darn weird. You see, the town had gone to bed one night, secure in the knowledge that everything was fine and they could snuggle into their warm beds for a good night’s sleep.
