Airborn is set in a past where giant airships are a main form of transportation. Matt Cruse is a cabin boy on a luxury airship when it comes upon a hot-air balloon that has been drifting and he manages to save it and the man who is dying in it. Before he dies, the man in the balloon tells Matt about a creature he has discovered.
Skybreaker is the continuing adventures of Matt and Kate.
