This blog is essentially a list of children's books that I have enjoyed (or didn't but might recommend anyway). They are tagged for age level and other searchable characteristics. This new series by Scholastic tells the stories of a number of landmark historic events in Canadian history though the diaries of young girls who might have lived through the events. The two I have read so far (pictured above) were excellent.
