Bembo's Zoo

From Wikipedia.org:
Bembo is the name given to an old style serif typeface based upon a face cut by Francesco Griffo, first printed in February 1496.

Bembo's Zoo is an interactive alphabet that uses the typeface to create some wonderful animal illustrations. It is also available as a picture book.

Lookybook

Lookybook is a great site where you can flip through picture books and even embed them in a blog! (see above)

Storynory

You can download stories for free from Storynory and listen to them on the computer, on a ipod, or burn them to a disc to listen to on a road trip. I've only had a chance to listen to a couple of them, but if you can stand the introduction about prince Bertie the frog, they're well done.

Robert Munsch

Robert Munsch is one of Canada's best known and most popular story tellers. Stories such as The Paper Bag Princess have become classics. You can hear him tell some of his stories on his web site.
